Ministry of Health of Singapore has awarded iMedic™ as a telemedicine platform for Home Recovery Program (HRP) where infected patients are required to stay home and treated by online doctors. The intelligent digital health platform is also awarded specifically to manage infected pregnant women.
iMedic™ is widely used in the online management of chronic disease patients and online consultation for simple acute patients. With the surge spread by the Delta variant, hospitals are overwhelmed and do not have the capacity to treat all the infected patients. Home care is the default treatment plan and only patients with severe symptoms are admitted to the hospitals. Patients with mild and moderate symptoms will be treated remotely.
The intelligent telemedicine platform is used by doctors to provide online consultation, prescription, issuance of medical certificate and delivery of the medication. iMedic™ is capable of tracking symptoms intelligently and will be able to help doctors to better managed the patients.
The world is expecting the Omicron variant to create another big wave of infection in the next few months before the curve can be flatted. Even people with booster shots are not spared. The already overly stressed hospitals will not be able to handle the surge and more patients are expected to stay home and managed remotely.
