Viva Shaik Speaking at Future for Health Conference
Held across three days at Marina Bay Sands Singapore and organised by Wearable Technologies, the 2026 Medical Fair welcomed Viva, Director, Digital Health to the stage on 10 September. She was honoured to be invited to speak at the Future for Health Conference.
United Crest Healthcare (UCH) was the only clinical management system (CMS) technology company representing Singapore at the conference.
Expounding on AI, analytics and the Internet of Things (IoT), the full technology stack that underpins iMedic, Viva centred her presentation around a few ideas:
- the P5 model of medicine: Predictive, Preventive, Personalised, Participatory and Precision
- How wearable devices, IoT data and AI feed into iMedic’s core, the EMR
- iMedic screening for longevity: AI + analytics engine
While much of the conversation focused on wearables that capture data, iMedic sits where that data lands. Its data interoperability makes sense of it, and healthcare professionals turn it into care decisions.
Viva’s message was clear: AI, analytics, and IoT don’t replace the P5 model. They finally make it possible to run all five, continuously, for every patient.
UCH is working towards bringing the same infrastructure to GP clinics, often a patient’s first and most frequent point of care, and to nursing homes and hospitals, where continuous monitoring can help care teams spot decline sooner, with earlier detection and more personalised care.
As UCH continues to build out iMedic’s platform, appearances like this conference underscore its position at the intersection of AI, analytics and IoT. Its aim is a people-centred healthcare ecosystem where every patient’s data works for them, and the promise of the P5 model is realised in everyday practice across the region, making longevity and precision medicine operational at scale.
